Svetlana Druzhkova  was born in 1945 in Leninabad in an evacuated family.
Her childhood and youth passed in the Urals where she became a professional musician and teacher. Since 1997 she has been living in St. Petersburg and working as a piano teacher. In 2001-2004 she studied at the studio school “Contrast”, her supervisor being V. B. Shraga.  She is a member of the “Art Union of Russia”.

The feeling of a child looking around happily and in surprise, his attempts to create something from what he sees here and now, the joy of life in all its manifestations – this is the main feature of the artist’s outlook. She generously shares with the spectator her thrill of life, her world full of colours, feelings and creativity. Take it as it comes, enjoy the blissful flight of her soul and fancy. 
She holds widely open the doors leading to her world. Come in! This world may be a little bit naïve – but it is agreeable and cozy, intelligible though a little mysterious, summer-bright and sunny.
