"SCHIZO CULTURE"
Manifesto, photography, molds, “Find the difference” game
In the small hall

Looking in a distorting mirror – do you really feel proud?
One of the problems of our culture is pedalling and worshipping the Ideal from the outside and hushing/censuring of the Real level of culture, the one which is in exact coincidence with our base mentality with its certain degree of barbarism, such as neglecting the cleanness and neatness, laziness, I-don’t-care-syndrome and inertness, carelessness, low level of moral requirements, of self-respect and of the quality of the work done….
The duality of the ethic setting – the Cult of the Ideal and Taboo for the Real – reflects and at the same time provokes the further cultural schizophrenia, which would feed hypocrisy, already puffed up, corrode the public conscience  more and more and hinder the growth of the culture.
Only reconstructed deep motives of our behaviour can help resist it.
To get through to these motives, to set them up one should first refuse from the primacy of classical approach based on the allegedly beneficial influence of High Samples.
Let’s speak with doctors not about what hurts but about what is still healthy. Yet.
Let’s give only good news. And forget about what it may end with.
We should face the truth, stop being afraid of it and begin struggle with the manifestations of the Ideal conscience.
When we do not hush up the real problems it is easier to find a solution.
What should we begin with? We should publish in guide-books the Real photos to form a Truthful image of Russia in ourselves and in coming tourists as well.  A truthful image of Russia will break the fixed stereotype about the – oh! – wonderful art and those – ouch! – barbaric customs and the – wow! – splendour of the city centre and those – ugh! – ugly new buildings. We’ve got enough of that stuff, haven’t we?
We should do some steps to remove the “ideality”: for example to break off pieces of stucco from the facades if the latter are too “ideal” (the percent of breaking-off is to be determined by the Special sService), to scatter the rubbish onto the too clean-licked  surfaces, to  mount plaster casts of drunkards fallen asleep, of beggars (if there are no real ones), etc. At first sight, it is much work to be done – but, I am really sorry, our conscious, as well as subconscious are cluttered up enough!  For controlling the process of de-tabooing the Real a Special Service should be organized. Our logo is: we don’t need the better, we need it the usual way.
