"...after life..." Fine art In the halls of the gallery | | | | | | | | | | | | The exhibition dedicated to the memory of Olga Azova will definitely attract attention of amateurs of different techniques and styles in fine art. Olga graduated from the Institute of fine art, sculpture and architecture named after I.E. Repin. For a long time, together with her husband Alexander Lepetchenko, painted one canvas after another. Their family had only 2 exhibitions; one of them, in the hall on Sverdlovskaya embankment was held only because of the attempts to deprive the artists from their studio. That time, in 1990, they managed to vindicate the workshop. And then during the demonstration of the material the artists realized how much they had managed to create. But after that all canvases returned to their places in the workshop, the work continued but nobody saw the canvases. In 2000 Olga died and Alexander left St. Petersburg, but the canvases remained at the friends of the family. And now there is a possibility to show them the world, parts of which they carry in themselves, and to show them to the world, which will see in them its pure undistorted reflection, decorated by the artists’ perception. |
