Natek Aziz Hassan was born in Iraq in 1968.
Studied in Iraq and Iran. He is a lawyer by profession, but never worked as such.
He studied painting privately. His first show took place in 1990.
Lived in Syria, translated belles-lettres and poetry from Persian into Arabic, worked as a journalist for the press, writing about modern painting.
At present lives in St Petersburg, works as a designer.
