"Our life is filled with deep changes, which humankind intensively goes through. We live in a different world and witness contrasts and a new romance, giving to the epoch a cosmic scale of the heroic splendor. Everything’s become different, and because of the urge to express the new “spirit” of his epoch, an artist remains in a constant search of the form most adequate to this new phenomenon, but painting in the way we understand it will not disappear, as once you’ve yielded to this passion, you’re doomed.
Sometimes I’m enchanted by the exact sense of simple words, sometimes these words reveal a mystery similar to secrets of craftsmen past and gone, but ahead of their time.
I love artists of the 20th century, they taught me to love the earth, the man and the sky.
I’m devoting this show to all my teachers and to ordeals that torment me".
